I am about to throw this laptop across the room. This is the fourth time I have typed this message. It keeps losing it. We went to church in Hereford today. Everyone was very nice and friendly. I gave the opening prayer in RS. The bishop called on both of us to introduce ourselves and bear our testimonies in Sac. Mtg, and I played the organ in Sac. Mtg. We are getting broken in fast. We left the meetings with four dinner invites, one FHE invite and a service project to help with. There were also several people who said they had friends they would like us to visit and possibly teach. This week could prove to be fairly busy, which is good because it is hard to spend much time in this small room. It is about the size of Shawna's bedroom in Glenpool. It has a double bed, a sink, a big "wardrobe", a dresser, and all of our suitcases. Needless to say, we can barely move around. I sure hope we find a place to stay really soon. They have fed us really well here. They don't believe in small portions. The only problem is that you have to ask for something to drink, and I seem to always to be thirstly. We are getting close. Five weeks from Monday we go into the MTC. We have most things lined up. Visa is applied for. Bank account is being worked on. Big thing left is finding an apartment(flat). Not any progress in that yet.

Thanks to Shawna for reminding me to get back on the ball, I have really been slacking. I have posted a new reading list which I do mostly because I find I am much more likely to read everyday if I do. I am very excited to be picking this back up. My days always go so much better when I start them with reading my scriptures. Well Happy Blogging.

OK Lets start again

k so we kinda quit there for awhile during the holidays. Especially with us studying the BOM in Sunday School this year it should be easier. In class yesterday they didn't really talk about what happened in the the first 6 chapters of Nephi. His main point was that everything in life revolves around the Savior and that is a plan for each of us. Nephi and Sam were obedient because they asked the Lord what was right. Laman and Lemuel never did ask and so they continued to murmur even after an angel appeared to them. I need to make sure I'm not murmering, cuz if I am it probably means I'm not doing something I should be doing. I'm only on 1 Nephi chapter 8 so I will probably just keep up with the Sunday School lesson schedule at this point.

One Last Thought

Once again, I notice that Lehi continues to council his difficult children in all their rebellion. Even after observing their actions in his vision of the tree of life. "And he did exhort them then with all the feeling of a tender parent..." (1 Ne. 8:37). So I guess I shouldn't give up on my own crazy children. They're all under 10. Laman and Lemuel were probably in their 30's I'm guessing. Even though I'm still not sure Santa should come to our house after this past weekend.
